Popasnaya.City, Smila.City editor-in-chief Yaroslav Nesterenko joins the UAF
The Popasnaya.City and Smila.City editor-in-chief, Yaroslav Nesterenko, joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reports "Abo – Media Growth Agency" on Facebook.
"I enlisted, and there is a combat unit in the east where I want to serve. I am currently undergoing basic training. The morale is high, although it is difficult," says Yaroslav.
While the editor is on leave, the media outlets will continue to work thanks to the Agency's support and the work of the local team in Smila.
"I am glad that amidst a war and having left the ruins of Popasna, we still managed to create a cool media outlet in Smila. There are trustworthy people who will keep it going. And I am gaining new experience in order to contribute to our victory and come back home to my family," Yaroslav added.
The editorial team of Popasna.City relocated to Smila, Cherkasy oblast, in 2022.
