Printing House issuing forged press cards exposed in Kyiv
The Kyiv's law enforcement officers exposed a clandestine production of forged ID documents, press cards including, as the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported.
A group of people organized an underground "printing house" in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, in Khmelnytsky region. They produced diplomas of higher education, certificates, brevets, certificates, certificates of vaccination against COVID-19, certificates of negative PCR tests, etc. . At the same time, the prosecutor's office notes, the forged documents bearing holographic security elements.
The orders for the production of forged documents and their sale was carried out on the Internet, on popular trading platforms.
During searches on July 27, law enforcement officers confiscated a large number of diplomas with holographic protection elements, various certificates, including these ones of the policemen and the press, rubber stamps of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, COVID-19 vaccination certificates and negative PCR tests, a large number of hologram samples, etc.
Also the law enforcers confiscated three laptops containing information about communication with customers, with samples of diplomas, software for making documents, 15 mobile phones, which also revealed correspondence with customers, disposable SIM cards, draft records and equipment.
Criminal proceedings were instituted on the fact of forgery of diplomas, certificates and other official documents with the use of holographic protective elements (Part 2 of Article 199 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The organizer of the criminal business was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
