Russian VGTRK to open branches in the occupied territories

The Russian propagandist All-Russian State Television and Radio Company is going to open branches in the occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

This was reported by the LPR-controlled website LIC.

Details of the process are still unknown, but Russian officials say it will open up "additional opportunities in the communications field."

VGTRK is a Russian state media holding that spreads propaganda against Ukraine and the Western world.

Propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov is the VGTRK's deputy director general.

As IMI reported, in June, unknown hackers broke into Smotrim.ru Internet service, which is designed for watching TV channels of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK).
